Sean Young plays Rachael, the experimental Nexus 6 Replicant created by Eldon Tyrell. She is different to the other replicants because she has been given the memories of Tyrell's niece, which she believes to be her own childhood. When she finds out the truth about who she is, the only person she can turn to is the Blade Runner who has been given the job of terminating all the escaped replicants, including her. They become romantically entangled and ultimately their futures become one.
