Inspired by the Wiltern Theatre, they ended up building The Snake Pit in the studio - replacing J.F. Sebastian's Apartment. The Wiltern was originally considered while they still had the idea of it being an old opera house, (in DADoES, there is an opera singer replicant). However they changed their minds and made Taffey's Snake Pit nightclub - a place for upper-class persons to slum it, smoke opium, watch exotic dancers, etc.

Taffey Lewis is unconcerned with Deckard's empty threats.
